Our trip to Vaxholm and other pics

Vaxholm - what a wonderful little town. People singing in the streets, blue skyes, fresh cut grass and birds chirping... The home of Tiger Woods wife and first place I ever ate out in Sweden - Just mashed potatoes, please. The town of Vaxholm has their own castle where they have recorded a movie with Pippi Longstocking. This is what the town looks like in the summer.

Last night we had a little trip out to Vaxholm. It was a distant friend to Rebecka who had her birthday party. Wish I had pictures but no... Me, Rebecka, Linn and Ida went together and met up some of their girl friends at the party. The party was alright, alot of people wanted to help me find me a job and a very nice guy came up to me and he was really interested in America, he spoke very good english too.

A work day in Sweden...

Work day beginns with getting up at 7.30. Brakefast and for you guys out there, Americas Next Top Model. Thats my daily dose of America. Lol. Then we get on the moped, a 10 minutes drive of freezing my ass off, and then we are at the shop. We are cleaning Larses shop for his inspection on the 29th. This is no libeary, we are talking about a auto shop... You would not belive the grime I've seen. Lunch is the old - noodles and hard bread. After a few more houers of working we take off back home to enjoy the evning and trying to understand Swedish more and more. And thats a usuall day for me in Sweden.

Soo... Vanessas birthday went well. Dinner was my fav, pork and Evas cheese potatoes. Then we had some wierd, Swedish, green cake. What can I say - It was a little bit different... But I'm a team player. After dinner we sat down in the living room while Vanessa opened what seemd like a hundred presents. I got her the Mario Kart for her DS. Her biggest present was that she was going to swim with dolphins. After me, Rebecka, Eva, Vanessa and Viktor sat around while Viktor played the guitar and had a chat about music. Over all a pretty decent day. Right now im laying in bed, stuffed of food. Ready to watch some Sex and The City with the girlfriend... Then a good nights sleep. Cant wait to wake up another morning in Sweden...

BASKETBALL

ok so i had my first basketball game in another country last sunday. A little scared at first.... not knowing swedish, never playing with these guys and i am a little shy about things but it turned out good. I had alot of playing time for just being added to the team a couple of days before. I had 8 ponits 2 of them were from free throw shots. A steal and I think one block. So over all it went ok. I want to push my game to a bigger limit, get in better shape and do better in my next game on sunday the 26th. I am going for double digets in the ponits area ill keep ya updated on me balling in sweden.

Today, ladies and gents, it's Vanessa Tresers 13th birth day! Now she is in school but me, Eva and Rebecka is getting all ready for her big day. We will be celebrating with cake, presents and some good food! Happy birth day Vanessa!
